PhD
What we look for
A Master's degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, physics, mathematics, medicine or a related field; solid programming skills (Python or R); experience with statistics or machine learning; and a genuine interest in mental health.

Doktorarbeit (Medizin)
Was wir suchen
Medizinstudierende mit Interesse an Psychiatrie, Psychotherapie und datengetriebener Forschung. Vorkenntnisse in Statistik oder Programmierung sind hilfreich, aber keine Voraussetzung. Wichtig sind Zuverlässigkeit und genügend Zeit für ein eigenes Projekt.
Wir bieten experimentelle und klinische Doktorarbeiten, z. B. zu Sprachmarkern, kognitivem Training, Früherkennung und Prädiktion von Psychosen, mit enger Betreuung und der Möglichkeit, die Ergebnisse zu publizieren.

MSc thesis
What we look for
Master's students in psychology, neuroscience (e.g. Experimental and Clinical Neuroscience, Cologne), data science or related programmes who want to work with clinical, language, imaging or smartphone data. Basic programming skills are a plus.

Internships & visiting researchers
We regularly host interns and visiting PhD students and researchers, and we are happy to support applications for travel grants and fellowships (e.g. DAAD, Erasmus+). Please get in touch at least three months before your planned stay with a short description of what you would like to work on, your CV and the intended duration.
